Backup And Restore Edge Transport Server Role


A.GIỚI THIỆU:

Edge Transport server role là một thành phần quan trọng trong exchange 2007. Nó đóng vai trò như là gateway cho tất cả các mail gữi ra hay vào công ty. Edge Transport còn là bộ lọc spam mail và virus trước khi chuyển mail vào cho Hub Transport. Vì những lý do trên, nên việc duy trì tính ổn định và liên tục của edge transport là rất quan trọng, nên việc backup edge transport là việc làm không thể thiếu của người quản trị mail server. Bài lab này giới thiệu đến các bạn cách backup và restore EdgeTransport server, khi có sự cố có thể nhanh chóng đưa Edge Transport trở lại làm việc, không làm ảnh hưởng đến hệ thống mail công ty.

B.MÔ HÌNH:

Mô hình lab gồm hai máy:

* Máy Exchange1.nhatnghe.biz : là Domain và DNS, đóng vài trò là Hub Transport, mail box và client access.
* Máy Edge.nhatnghe.biz : là máy stand-alone đóng vai trò Edge transport. Bạn có thể xem cách cài edge tranport server trong bài viết này

Các bước thực hiện:

1. Thiết lập một số anti-spam trước khi backup
2. Backup edge transport
3. Restore edge transport
4. Kiểm tra

C.THỰC HIỆN:

I.Thiết lập Một số Anti-Spam trên Edge Transport Server trước khi backup

1. Attachment Filter Agent (lọc file đính kèm)
Vào Exchange management shell, gõ lệnh Get-TransportAgent kiểm tra xem Attachment Agent được kích hoạt chưa

Nếu Attachment Agent chưa được kích hoạt sử dụng lệnh Enable-TransportAgent - Identity “attachment Filter Agent” để kích họat
Nếu muốn filter các message chứa file kèm theo có phần mở rộng là .TXT thì gõ lệnh Add-AttachmentFilterEntry –Name *.txt –Type Filename. Tương tự cho file *.doc

Tạo thông điệp phản hồi cho người gửi bằng lệnh:

Filter những mail có từ Sex, ngoại trừ các mail có từ love

II.Backup Edge Transport

1. Tại Exchange management Shell, chuyển vào folder c:\Program Files\Microsoft\Exchange server\scripts rồi gõ lệnh: ExportEdgeConfig.ps1 –CloneConfigData:”c:\backup.xml”[IMG]

2.Giả lập Edge transport bị lỗi

a.Trên Edge Transport server xóa tất cả các cấu hình Anti-spam.
b.Tại edge transport server vào management shell gõ lệnh Remove-AttachmentFilterEntry –Identify filename:*.txt và lệnh Remove-AttachmentFilterEntry –Identify filename:*.doc. Để xóa filter các file có phần mỡ rộng là *.txt và *.doc.

c.Trên máy Exchange1 vào Organization Configuration\Hub Transport chọn tab Edge Subscriptions remove Edge

III.Restore Edge Transport

1.Tạo file Answer file từ file c:\backup.xml đã tạo trong phần backup:
Tại Edge transport server,vào Exchange management Shell, chuyển vào folder c:\Program Files\Microsoft\Exchange server\scripts gõ lệnh ImportEdgeConfig.ps1 –CloneConfigData:”c:\backup.xml” –IsImport $false –CloneConfigAnswer “c:\Answer.xml”

Mở file Answer để xem

2.Khôi phục lại cầu hình cho Edge Transport:

- Tại management shell gõ lệnh ImportEdgeConfig.ps1 –CloneConfigData:”c:\backup.xml” –IsImport $True –CloneConfigAnswer “c:\Answer.xml”, enter ấn A (all) để phục hồi cấu hình Cho Edge Tranport.

3.Kiểm tra:
Kiểm tra các lại các thiết lập Anti-Spam (Ip block list, Ip block list Provider, content filter) đã có lại các giá trị ban đầu.
Dùng lệnh Get-AttachmentFilterListConfig để xem lại thông điệp

Dùng lệnh Get-AttachmentFilterEntry để xem lại các file kèm theo, thấy vẫn còn filter các file *.txt và *.doc

4.Tạo lại file đồng bộ giữa Edge Transport và Exchange1:
Tại Edge Transport server vào management shell gõ lệnh New-EdgeSubscription –file “c:\edge.xml”. để tạo file edge.xml

5.Copy file Edge.xml từ máy Edge transport server sang máy exchange1.

6.Tại máy exchange1 vào Organization Configuration\Hub Transport chọn tab Edge Subscriptions chọn New Edge Subscription

Ấn Browse chọn file Edge.xml mới copy từ edge transport sang. ấn new

Tại máy Exchange1 vào management shell gõ lệnh Start-EdgeSynchronization để đồng bộ exchange1 và Edge Transport server
