Khắc phục lỗi không update từ Plesk 9.3 lên 9.5.4
 

Khi thực hiện việc update Plesk 9.3 lên 9.5.4 để khắc phục lỗi bảo mật
hưng vì VPS đã cài đặt 1 số gói không tương thích dẫn đến việc file auto update sẽ không chạy được.

Sau đây là cách khắc phục lỗi.

Bước 1: Xóa các gói có phần mở rộng .art ví dụ "psa-proftpd-1.3.3c-2.el5.art"

Bước 2: Xóa các thành phần thứ 3 "third-party repos".

#cd /etc/yum.repos.d
#rm atomic.repo

Bước 3: Xóa yum và cache,

#yum clean all

Bước 4: Sau khi đã xóa gói .art chạy lại file auto-installer trong "/usr/local/psa/admin/bin/autoinstaller" để tiếp tục nâng cấp lên Plesk 9.5.4.

I have gone through the issue and understood that you are getting the error
while installing new license. When I checked inside the server I could see
that two psa packages corresponding to Plesk panel version 9.3.0 and version
9.5.4 present inside the server. See the snippet below:

Also I could see somany packages related with Plesk panel version 9.5.4
present inside the server. See the snippet below:

It seems some body tried to upgrade plesk to version 9.5.4 and it got
failed. This is the root cause of the issue why you are unable to install
Plesk license key now.

So in order to fix this issue please upgrade Plesk panel to version 9.5.4
properly and then install appropriate license corresponding Plesk panel
version 9.5.4. For the time being you can use our temporary license attached
in this ticket.



In order to upgrade Plesk to version 9.5.4 properly please remove the
currently present rpm package "psa-9.5.4-cos5.build95101209.08" using the
command "rpm -e psa-9.5.4-cos5.build95101209.08 --nodeps --justdb" and then


run the auto-installer script "/usr/local/psa/admin/bin/autoinstaller" to
upgrade Plesk to version 9.5.4.

When I checked the installed MYSQL and PHP I could see that it is installed
from third party atomic repository (.art)

Plesk 9.x do not support packages installed from third party repository like
atomic ie .art packages. Parallels do not guarantee working of Plesk if it
uses packages from a 3rd Party repository such as Atomic (.art packages).
Plesk works only with the OS vendor packages .

At this situation, we recommend you to do the following.


a) Remove all third party PHP and MySQL listed above using "rpm -e <package
name> --nodeps"

b) Remove the atomic.repo and any other third party repositories from
"/etc/yum.repos.d/"

c) Clean yum cache and install PHP using yum.




After performing above steps try to upgrade Plesk to version 9.5.4 using
autoinstaller script "/usr/local/psa/admin/bin/autoinstaller". Above
solution will help you to fix this error.
