Hướng dẫn cách đăng ký 1 VM (VMware...) mới vào PCS như sau

Khi bạn chuyển Physical Server, VM... từ VMware ... qua VM trên PCS thì bạn đăng ký VM này vào PCS như sau:

Trên giao diện PVA cũng hỗ trợ việt đăng ký này nhưng đôi khi sẽ xảy ra lỗi tương tự

Do PVA không cho phép register với option --force nên việc đăng ký sẽ không như mong đợi, để đảm bảo đăng ký thành thêm option --force vào theo cách bên dưới là ok

1. Copy source VM (source đã convert từ vmware) vào /pstorage/minicloud/vmprivate

thí dụ: thư mục chứa VM tên là: Windows Server 2008.pvm

2. ssh vào Server Node PCS nào mà bạn muốn đăng ký VM này

3. Gõ lệnh sau để đăng ký VM

Trích dẫn:

prlctl register /pstorage/minicloud/vmprivate/Windows\ Server\ 2008.pvm --force

4. Vào PVA kiểm tra VM đã hiện lên giao diện quản lý PVA

5. Đổi tên VM và phân lại resource RAM, CPU, Card mạng cho VM là xong.
